KERRVILLE, TEXAS (Nov. 1, 2016) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Saints volleyball team (21-6) defeated Schreiner University (3-24) in three sets (25-18, 25-11, 25-17) in its last nonconference game of the regular season.
The Saints' defense continued its suffocating ways, holding Schreiner University to an anemic .060 hitting percentage. It was a well-balanced effort, with three different Saints recording at least 15 digs. With the win, the Saints are 9-2 in the all-time series against Schreiner.
"We got contributions from a lot of people tonight. I thought our setters did a really good job of mixing up who they were setting to, getting the middle blockers involved first and then getting our outside hitters involved," Head Coach Jeremiah Tiffin said. "We got a lot of digs tonight to Raven SwainColts Cheap Indianapolis T-shirts Authentic Free Shipping (JR/Pflugerville, Texas), Brittany Martinez (SR/El Paso, Texas) and Audrey Contreras (SR/McAllen, Texas). So I'm really proud of the team. We have a couple of tough matches on the road, but I like where we are headed into the conference finals."
